NEW PROJECT: FEAST

"People ask me: Why do you write about food, and eating, and drinking? Why don't you write about the struggle for power and security, and about love, the way the others do? The easiest answer is to say that, like most other humans, I am hungry" M.F.K. Fisher

Clout Theatre's new show will be about FOOD: funeral feasts, fine dining and cannibalism are on the menu.

FEAST is being developed with support from Arts Council England, Battersea Arts Centre, Jackson's Lane and The Bike Shed Theatre

Return from Istanbul, BAC Residency and New Project

Having spent a marvellous February falling in love with Istanbul, performing both The Various Lives of Infinite Nullity and How a Man Crumbled to sold out audiences and giving several workshops, we are back in sunny London and have begun work on a new project in residencies at the Battersea Arts Centre and Jackson's Lane (tasty details to follow very soon).

Funding update

We would like to thank the European Cultural Foundation, who will be supporting our trip to Istanbul through their Step Beyond Scheme. This support means an enormous amount to us as without it we most likely wouldn't be able to travel.

We have also received the wonderful news that Exeter Arts Council will be helping with the publicity and workshop for our April residency at the Bike Shed Theatre.
